This article describes how to replicate a folder between two or more servers. Sometimes it might be useful two have a folder replicated between two or more servers to provide the users connected to a server at one location with faster access to the folder contents than having them connecting to a different server in a different location.

Bitte gehen Sie auf die https://my.powerfolder.com/login Seite und geben Sie Ihre Account Email an, drücken sie anschließend den Password zurücksetzten Link. Im Anschluss erhalten Sie eine E-Mail, in der Sie einen Link finden. Klicken Sie auf diesen Link um Ihr Passwort neu zu setzten.
Alle Admins von On-Premise Installationen sollten das gleiche für Ihre Lizenz Accounts auf

Im Anschluss ist es notwendig, den Server mit der Account Email und dem neuen Password erneut zu aktivieren, dies kann man entweder auf dem Dashboard oder in den Einstellungen auf dem Lizenz Tab tun
Falls Sie PowerFolder mit einen Webserver eines Drittanbieters genutzt haben, überprüfen Sie bitte ob dieser OpenSSL verwendet, und wenn dies der Fall ist informieren Sie bitte Ihre Nutzer, dass ein neues Passwort notwendig ist. Besonders bei Linux Systemen mit vorgeschaltetem Apache Server ist diese Überprüfung dringend angeraten.
Falls Sie ein Windows Server System nutzen und das SSL Zertifikat direkt in den PowerFolder Server eingefügt haben, ist es zwar notwendig das Passwort des Lizenzaccounts zu ändern, aber Ihre lokalen Benutzerkonten sind nicht betroffen.

PowerFolder was partially affected by the Heartbleed bug therefore it is highly recommended to take action to ensure that the access to your data remains protected. Our Team updated our cloud shortly after the problem became known. Still it is required that you take action.
Please go to my.powerfolder.com enter your email and press recover password. Afterwards you will receive an email with a link to change your existing password.
All admins of on-premise installations should do the same for their license account on my.powerfolder.com
And reactivate your Server with this Account and your new Password
In Case you used PowerFolder with a 3rd party webserver, please check if this webserver is using OpenSSL if so please update / patch this webserver and inform your users that they need to change their passwords. This check is especially required for Linux systems with an apache webserver which is handling the SSL.
In case you use a windows system with an SSL certificate integrated via PowerFolder itself you only will need to change the license account password, your on-premise users and data is not affected and the access to the data on your on-premise installation was not endangered.
