Preface

This article is about skinning / branding the PowerFolder Server web interface. Make sure you have access to the server maintenance folder, all skin files reside in that folder.

How to skin

  1. Login at the webinterface of PowerFolder Server as admin.
  2. Go to "Preferences" / "Web".
  3. Choose a skin or copy the current skin to a new skin.
  4. Change the local skin files located in the resources of the server maintenance folder.

Config file

The skin can be setup in the server configuration file file. key 'plugin.webinterface.skin'

Examples:

plugin.webinterface.skin=Neutral
plugin.webinterface.skin=Green

Files and resources

Under web-resources/skins/ in Maintenance folder subdir "resources".

Installing a skin zip-file

Extract the skin zip file (e.g. myskin.zip) into the directory

Server maintenance folder/resources/web-resources/skins/myskin (Create the directory if not existing).

Then open the server preferences and change the skin to "myskin" and apply any optional color settings.

Logo formats for the Webinterface

Webinterface:

Name: header.png

Format: PNG/250x70 px


Webinterface mobile:

Name: header_m.png

Format: PNG/300x60 px
