Preface
Since 13th Oct 2010 PowerFolder is partnering with Tabbles on a new "tag'n'sync" cloud service software, which is currently available as beta. Tabbles are experts in tagging, browsing and searching files - this is a new, easy way of organizing your personal or corporate files. Combined with PowerFolder we created a software to easily tag, share and search files in LAN or cloud.
The new software package consists out of two user interfaces:
- PowerFolder (named "Tabbles Sharing" for this project) for setting up shared folders.
- Tabbles for tagging, browsing and finding files.
Download
This version will automatically download and install all required components of the service:
- PowerFolder
- Tabbles
- Java if necessary
- .NET if necessary
Note: Tabbles Sharing is available for Windows only.
How to start
- Download and install Tabbles Sharing.
- A wizard will guide you through all basic steps:
- Register a new or activate with an existing account.
- Select the folders you like to share.
- Invite other people to your shared folders.
- Now switch to Tabbles and begin tagging the files of your shared folders.
Ready!
The files and tags will now be shared. The invited users can browse, search and access your files by tags. They can also add new files and tags, which will be send back to your computer.

Limits
During the beta your are allowed to tag unlimited number of files (usually 1000) and allowed to share up to 1 GB in the cloud. Existing PowerFolder customers can use their paid account with Tabbles Sharing beta to go beyond that limit.
