Supernode
From PowerFolder Wiki
A supernode in the PowerFolder network is a computer with a working DynDNS entry OR a fix IP/DNS name. The DynDNS or IP can be set under Preferences/DynDNS.
Being a supernodes improves your connectivity, which means remote computers can connect quicker and directly transfer files between each other.
Your computer will become a supernode, when
- a DynDNS, fix DNS or fix IP set under Preferences and
- can accept incoming connections (not limited connectivity).
It is required to open the firewall and router for inbound connections on port 1337 (TCP).
