Preface
This article gives an overview of the PowerFolder Server - the core component of the PowerFolder Cloud Solutions. You'll find general infos and documentation, which explains how to set it up.

Minimum requirements
- Linux, Windows or Mac OS X with Java Runtime Edition 6.0 (Update 11 or higher, JDK 1.6.0_11).
- At least 512MB memory (1GB recommended).
- Firewall that allows inbound TCP connections on port 1337 and web interface port (e.g. 80 or 8080)
- Recommended: Fix DNS hostname, fix IP or at least a DynDNS.
