Secure client identification

From PowerFolder Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

PowerFolder clearly identifies every folder member internally with a secure name independent and encrypted identification key. This key system compares your private local key with the public key which the other folder members automatically got from you when you joined the folder. This keys are not identical but can identify each other. If this identification fails, no data will be transferred and each folder member gets a warning.
