Remove Folders from the cloud space

To remove a Folder from the cloud space via the PowerFolder program please:

  • 1. Start PowerFolder and select the Folder you want to remove.
  • 2. Click on "Remove Folder".
  • 3. Check the box "Remove from cloud space".
  • 4. Uncheck "Stop synchronizing locally" if this folder should still be synchronized with other computers via peer-to-peer.
  • 5. Press "Ok".
  • 6. The Folder now gets removed from the cloud space and won't longer get backed up. The free online space can be re-used for other files and folders.

If you don't have access to the PowerFolder program you can also remove a Folder from the cloud space via web browser.

To remove a Folder from the cloud space via web please:

  • 1. Go to: https://www.powerfolder.com/storage_login.html
  • 2. Login to your account.
  • 3. Click on the Folder you want to remove.
  • 4. Click on settings.
  • 5. Press "Remove Folder".
  • 6. Confirm your decision in the info dialog by clicking "Ok".
  • 7. The Folder now gets removed from the cloud space and won't longer get backed up. The freed cloud space can be re-used for other files and folders.
