Nickname

This name is your PowerFolder name. Others can find you with this name when they are searching for a friend.

Language:

Powerfolder can be used in: English, French, Italian, Russian, Swedish, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Netherlands, Polish, German

Start panel:

Here you can select which information you will have displayed on the right side, on each start of PowerFolder.

Some information about your PowerFolder: how many folder/friends/....

Closing PowerFolder:

This setting defines how PowerFolder behaves if you click on the close button in the upper right corner

Possible options:

Minimize to System tray

The interface closed but PowerFolder remains active until you right-click on the small icon in the system tray and select exit.

Exit PowerFolder

PowerFolder switches off.

Themes:

Various themes to make PowerFolder fit your Windows theme.

Place for saving standard:

If you create a new folder or get an invitation PowerFolder will Set this as default path but you still can change it.

Show extended settings:

Adds a new Panel to the settings.

Link on Desktop:

If a new Folder is joined or created, PowerFolder creates a shortcut to the desktop if this box is checked, so you can access you data faster.

Use small icons for Toolbar:

This setting reduces the size of the main buttons of PowerFolder. This makes the size of the GUI smaller.

Use Recycle bin:

PowerFolder stores erased or overwritten data in the recycle bin (only last version). If a file gets removed or overwritten from the recycle bin, it will be moved to the system recycle bin so you have the option to restore data. Be careful disabling this setting.

Start PowerFolder with Windows

Check this box if you want PowerFolder to do so.
