Free choice of location

From PowerFolder Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Wherever your data is located on your computer you can turn that directory into a PowerFolder. This gives you the freedom to synchronize, share or backup your data, without reorganizing it first. Also if you get invited to a Folder you can freely choose which directory you want to sync with it.

Please note that some operating systems are protecting some areas of the harddrive. You still can exchange data with them but you need to run PowerFolder as an admin.

To do so under Windows vista: right click on the PowerFolder icon/shortcut and select run as administrator.
