Encrypted Transfers
From PowerFolder Wiki
(Redirected from Encrypted transfers)
PowerFolder Pro has three levels of encryption. These can be changed by opening preferences, then selecting the "Pro Settings" tab, and finally double clicking "Encrypted Transfers."
- In "Maximum," all transfers are encrypted. If a non-encrypted computer tries to connect to yours, the connection will be dropped.
- In "High," all transfers over the internet will be encrypted. PowerFolder will still be able to communicate with other machines on your LAN without encryption.
- Finally, in "Low," PowerFolder will communicate with any other machine regardless of encryption. Connections may still be encrypted, but it is not a requirement.
Please note, PowerFolder must be in the "Low" setting to communicate with PowerFolder Basic.
