Preface
The E-Commerce module is a small built-in online shop system to easily and automatically sell or resell online space and PowerFolder client licenses. The module is a optional part of PowerFolder Server and can be enabled in the Server admin console under Preferences / E-Commerce.
How to obtain
It is only available to PowerFolder Server users. Once purchased it can be used with unlimited number of servers and clients. Save 25%: Pre-order during the beta

PayPal account
A PayPal account is required to automatically receive payments from your customers. The registration is free, for receiving payments PayPal charges a small service fee. Please check the PayPal homepage for more information.
To automatically receive payments from other currencies than your own currency please login to your PayPal account and go to Profile / Payment receiving options. Change the setting "Block payments sent to me in a currency I do not hold" to "No, accept them and convert them to my currency".
Setup
- Open the admin console of PowerFolder Server.
- Enable the feature at Preferences / E-Commerce and enter your PayPal account email.
- After saving preferences the product maintenance application appears in the main menu.
- Open the product application and add a new product.
- Enter the product details like name, storage size and price.
- Save the product.
- Repeat these steps above to add more products.
- It is highly recommended to setup the license service connection to automatically obtain program client licenses for new customers.
Ready. The new products is automatically displayed and offered to users that login at PowerFolder Server's web interface.
