I have a couple of questions about upgrading from 3.x to 4.x. Some background. I have a license for 5 systems that I bought for version 3. I run these on two Macs, one Windows XP and one Windows 7 systems (I have one unused license).

So questions...

1. Since I bought version 3.x licenses, what license of version 4.x does that give me the right to use?

2. Do I have to convert all systems to 4.x at the same time or is there some backward compatibility between 3.x and 4.x so I can do this incrementatlly?

Thanks,

-Dale

Dear Dsmith
Free to upgrade we do not limit by version number

They work together (3 and 4)

in 4.0 folders are visible on account level if you dilike this create free acounts and drop us an email and we can assign you license to multiple accounts.

OK, I bit the bullet and have upgraded one mac and one PC. Seems to sync fine, but two things I'm wondering about.

1. Both powerfolders say dsmith@... disabled - If I click on that, I can login successfully, but it still says my account is disabled.

2. Both mac and pc powerfolders provide a link "upgrade powerfolder" on the home screen. Do I have to look at that advertisement or can I make it go away?

We just checked your account and you have perpetual licenses but your online storage expired. As an reaction to this PowerFolder showed the ad.

Right now i changed your online storage subscribtion to a free 1 GB package so the ad should went away.

I also removed your email from the previous post to make sure that the bots dont get it.
In general dont post email addresses, here just drop us an email
