Hello - Unfortunately my trial ran out before I got a final chance to test this.

We have 4 users and 3 folders to sync. Only one person will send out the invites for these 3 folders.

However, 1 folder must not allow 3 of the users to delete files, so only the person sending the invites can add files to it. We don't want the other 3 users to delete from it.

The other 2 folders we want all 4 people to be able to add new files to them and sync with everyone.

Is it possible to do this? If so what settings should I use? When I made a test last time, I deleted a file and it also deleted from the person who invited me to share. Thats what we need to avoid.

If it's possible to have this, I will be registering today.

Thanks for your help.:)

Dear Kpaxian

Best way would be:
Set the server to share/send so it will not take deletions and download only manual selected files.

Set the clients to automatic download if they should not take deletions or
automatic sync if they should.

This way the clients will still be able to add new files to the folder and get new files from other clients, if you want to prevent this customize a sync mode automatic sync or automatic download leave the mode untouched while creating it, And only check download only from friends and save the mode. Than make sure they dont have each other on the friendlist.

If you have a PowerFolder server you can turn the clients into server only mode but this is recommend only for bigger installtions and will prevent all communication between the clients.

a full list of preconfigured transfer modes can be found here:
