How do I set up a network with different transfer modes?

We have four members, A, B, C and D. A and B act as Masters and have transfer mode "Automatic Synchronization". (Works like a dream.)

Now we want to connect members C and D. We want their changes and additions to be reflected on A and B. But we do not want their deletions to affect member A or B. Neither do we want deletions on member C to affect member D. But deletions on A/B shall be reflected on C and D.

They might want to sync the complete folder or only individual files. We cannot control what transfer mode they choose.

How do we set up this? Is it even possible?

Dear Leiph

You can set on every client for each folder a onw transfer mode this will define how the clients handle the data on this folder.

In your case:
Set your clients a/b to automatic download this way they can do almost everything but they are not accepting deletions.

The general problem with this is if you cannot control which transfer mode they choose you will have currently no way to give rules to them how they should behave. The only thing you can configure with the transfer modes is how your computers are handeling the data. In your case you can protect your data by switching to automatic download.
Perhaps there is another way but i need to speak first with our team.

Btw email is always the faster way :D
