Is it possible to use Outlook on one computer only and get that content replicated across several other Powerfolder computers for reference only on those, which have Outlook installed?

I'm thinking I have a desktop and two laptops which I use in various circumstances. The desktop is my source for all the Outlook synching with e-mail etc. and where I keep my diary and e-mails.

Could I view rather than amend the others by placing the .pst file in Powerfolder, thus having existing e-mails/calendar etc. available whilst i travel to view only?

Thanks

Different versions of Outlook appear to work in different ways, so we cannot really give a definitive answer. To begin, you could try manually copying the .pst file directly to your laptop and see if it works as expected. When you have it working as you expect, then you would be able to use PowerFolder to do the copy for you.

Please note that it would not be a good idea to copy Outlook data files with Outlook running on either of your machines. Also make sure that you select Transfer Modes that will not overwrite your original .pst file (http://www.powerfolder.com/wiki/Transfer_Modes).

Outlook allows you to make backups of your data (File / Import and Export), which might be worth doing before you begin moving you data files.
