is it possible to setup ignore patters in advance? all i can do is edit it after a share is made, then on the other machine, i have to edit it as well, it's time consuming and leads to problems if i forget to do it on a machine. would be nice to have a default ignore patter of my choice.
also, is there any way to auto accept invites? so if i share a folder at work, i don't have to wait until i get home for it to authorize and start syncing?

Dear Michael
You have to setup the ignore pattern on each computer.
And there is no way to auto accept invites.

well, something odd, i reformatted a pc yesterday, reinstalled powerfolder, opened a saved invitation, and it had all the ignore patters for that filled out. weird huh?

ignore patterns get saved to a normal text file in the powerfolder's /.PowerFolder/ignore.patterns . Our solution to this problem has been to have a general powerfolder that's shared by everyone that has a subfolders of defualt ignore.pattern files based on the users roles. That way they can copy the desired one to the new powerfolder's /.PowerFolder/, restart powerfolder and have it be in effect.
We're also developing a python program that auto generates the ignore.patterns but will be very specific to our production workflow.

i think that works in a really strange way, why so many steps for something so simple? why can't there be an option to include that as part of the invitaion file, that way it's set and forget. it's easier, all around for the end users, who are your customers?
