Unable to connect to online storage

The error message says:

Unable to connect to Online Storage
Reason: de.dal33t.powerfolder.net.ConnectionException: unable to connect to Online Storage.

What's it mean? How do I fix it? It *used* to connect to Online Storage without a problem. Now my desk and laptop won't sync over the internet.

is this problem still existing or was this just for a short time?
Its possible that the servers are rebooted from time to time this takes 10 to 15 min.
In general: if you open port 1337 on both sides you do not need the online storage to sync your computers, if both are online at the same time.

For the case that thsi problem still exists please send us the full debug logs(powerfolder-(date).log.
