has to do with my other thread, all of a sudden powerfolder started adding things not part of the directory, it was a hidden shortcut in documents folder for music, pictures, video. it never did these before, i have a feeling it started with the update. so i can't even get into my folder now, and what a mess powerfolder has made, and i also can't remove the online storage member, i mean, WTF is that about?

Dear Michael
You can remove some files from your online storage in the following ways:
remove a folder(with the client):
-go to the client on which you created the folder
-rightclick on the folder
-select remove folder
-uncheck everything but remove from online storage
-the folder will be removed

remove a folder(with the webinterface):
-go into the webinterface
-select the folder you want to remove
-click settings and press remove

As an alternative you can simply remove a few files from the online storage:
with the standart settings of the online storage(automatic sync): remove the files from your folder on the client and the deletion will be transfered to the online storage as soon its below 5 gb you can use it again as normal.

or your could fix the bug that caused this in the first place. i removed the files from the sync already, now why it still has them on online storage i do not know, but thats your responsibility to fix

i will not remove it either, i don't have the time, also i told you what the bug was, i'm not about to reproduce it as it's a big mess to clean up and i'm not about to do that again. so i have an idea, pay attention to what i posted, and reproduce it yourselves. this was done on a vista box, where there are hidden shortcuts for your media folders in documents, in xp those folders were actually in there, but not anymore. and this just started with the recent update to your program

so i guess no fixing from the developers huh? i'm running 12 hour sessions 7 days a week, i don't have time to do some workaround on a major bug in the software, sorry, hopefully u will fix it ASAP. also, for me to reproduce this bug, is really stupid, since it creates a huge mess that i spent hours fixing, no thanks, i cannot believe you would ask that

btw, why don't u let the users into the online storage so they can delete stuff, or allow them to remove members. the way u have it set up is really stupid, either forcing the user to buy more storage with no way to manage it, or delete the share al together. pretty rediculous and has me pretty furious right now that there is no response from you people on this, or fix, or anything.

Dear Michael

A:
We did not find a bug like you described it and no other user reported something like this. And we have users which are looking very closely on their data and what it does. We really tried to reproduce that behaviour and we asked you to help us with that, what you strictly refused. IF you can send us logs of that behavior we might be able to help you.
But since:
-you are the only reporter
-we are not able to reproduce that bug
-we have no logs of that

We do not see a chance to trace that

B: We will not go and delete random data from your account beside we do not even know what is your account i hope you understand that.

C: IF we would do that the data might be deleted on your systems also (if you have a setup which takes deletions) and we are very sure you would not like that also

D: You just can remove the folder from the online storage very easy in multiple ways (see above) or just delete a few files from the client.

BTW
You even can add files/subfolders to ignore list if you want to make sure that not all the data of a folder is exchanged

Sorry but we cannot help you with that in another way. and we hope you can understand this looking forward to get your log files.
Best regards
Bernhard Rutkowsky
