How do i get a licence file for V3.1?
I used V3.0.2 Basic before and kept the configuration when upgrading.
I already have an account from testing online storage, which has expired meanwhile.
The new version 3.1 always pops up a registration window asking for a licence file. Aborting the dialog reopens the same dialog.
Is there a command option to start PowerFolder in conventional Basic mode?
Thanks, Michael.

Dear Mibo,
If you have already registered for an online storage trial account you should be able to retrieve a fresh trial license key for PowerFolder Pro (even if you online space time expired) during activation with your username and password.
We will soon offer a more convenient way to update.
Best regards,
Christian

If the upgrade is done on a Basic-Version with previously configuration of LAN-only mode there is no login-dialog shown in the activation-wizzard.
Because the wizzard is running, it is not possible to reconfigure with the fresh installed Pro-Version. You better set to LAN & Internet mode using the old Powerfolder Basic installation before upgrading.
Workaround:
download the jar-file of PowerFolder Basic 3.1 dev1 (development version as offered on the website-news-section).
Temporarily replace the fresh installed PowerFolder.jar in folder PowerFolder.co\FowerFolder by the development-basic-version.
Start PowerFolder and configure to LAN & Internet mode.
Terminate PowerFolder.
Restore original PowerFoder.jar file.
Luckily there will be the online activation shown in the wizzard.
The following activation succeeded without any problems.
