Hi,
I'm using PowerFolder v3.0.2 Pro on a Fedora 9 machine but every time I start PowerFolder the basic setup wizard starts.
Is there a way to stop this?
Thanks in advance, Rob
Hello rob
may ask if you are using the jar file or the webstart?

I'm using the jar and launching with this command:
java -jar /usr/bin/PowerFolder.jar
I'm not logged in as root.

Ok thank you iam not very familiar with linux but i will ask our linux guy how to fix that.
Sorry for the delay caused by that.

It seems that your PowerFolder preferences could not be stored.
Please try to start PowerFolder this way:
cd /usr/bin
java -jar PowerFolder.jar
Make sure you have read/write permissions here:
# In Linux, preferences are stored in ordinary xml files. System Preferences are stored in etc/.java.
# In Linux, user preferences are stored in ~/.java.
PowerFolder uses user preferences.

Thank you Bernhard. It would nice to sort this out but it's not critical (of course).
