I'm sorry if this is a duplicate, I tried to make a post, but it doesn't appear to have posted.
Two scenarios:
Linux external drive: /mnt/data/folders
Except sometimes, the "folders" aren't mounted, so it looks like:
/mnt/data
I had made a Power Folder to /mnt/data and unfortunately, this resulted in deleting all the data because it automatically ran a sync when "folders" weren't mounted and assumed they were deleted, I guess.
Would this be solved by making the mirrored folder "folders" instead of "data"? How will Power Folder handle a folder that is sometimes available and sometimes missing?
Similar scenario: I have data on a flash drive. The flash drive is sometimes mounted in a Windows computer and sometimes it is not there. I have created a sync of a folder, say "f:\data". How will Power Folder handle this sync if "f:" is missing altogether, but Power Folder is running?
Thanks.
