first of all thank you for the very overwhelming response on our new 4.3.0 release! It's a great success for us all.

One problem, that some users have reported, is that some cloud folders are not longer show up in their account. If you are affected by this problem - Don't worry - your files are in perfect shape. To make them visible again please follow this short guide:

1. Start the PowerFolder client.
2. Click on the folder(s), that gets backed up into the cloud.
3. Go to the problems tab.
4. Click "Resolve" on the "No owner found" problem.

That's it. You're folders will be visible again when logging at powerfolder.com.

version 4.3.0 is finally available for download!

This release contains tons of improvements and bugfixes as well as
some new features. It will soon be made available via the auto-update of PowerFolder.

A big thanks goes out to all users, customers, contributors, translators and everyone, who helped us!

And don't forget: Support us by upgrading your PowerFolder -
even if you don't hit the limits of the free version.

The changes of version 4.3.0 in detail:

New features

• Added new fresh default skin "LightSky".

• New wizard option "All typical" to easily sync, share, backup all common directories such as Documents, Music, Pictures, etc.pp.
• Windows Installer now supports command line options to control the installation process: www.powerfolder.com/wiki/Windows_installer
• Ignore patterns/exclusion list now gets synced between clients.
• Added file browser filter settings to view files of other computers.

Today we made a first release candidate version of the upcoming PowerFolder release 4.3.0 available for download.

Note: No uninstallation of the previous version is necessary. Simply download and install this version over an existing one.

we are sorry for the connection problems that some users experienced with the latest version of PowerFolder.

Today we released version 4.2.5 which should fix all connectivity issues.

Download and upgrade now.

The changes in detail:

some users experience connectivity problems with the latest version (4.2.3) of PowerFolder. If you also encounter such a problem please try the following workarounds:

1. Make sure all computers correctly log in with your email/password. Click on "Account" in the middle of the main window for a login prompt.
2. Check your router and firewall. Make sure they allow PowerFolder to freely communicate (port 1337 TCP). Read more...
3. Downgrade to the previous version of PowerFolder (4.1.3). No uninstall required. Download: Windows, Mac OS X
4. Contact us and report your problem as detailed as possible. Which computers are you trying to connect? Debug logs help a lot
